论"故者以利为本"——以孟子心性论为参照

摘    要:《孟子》"天下之言性"章,历来存在不同的解释,这也成为后人理解孟子"性善论"的一大难题.理解这段文字的难点在于如何把握文中"故"和"利"的确切含义.近来出土的文献,不但没有使该问题得到解决,反而加剧了这场争论.本文主张,只有兼顾训诂与思想史两个视角,把此问题放到孟子性善论的整体框架下讨论,才能发现解决该问题的新思路.当时,对"性"的一般界定是"生之为性",这也应该成为准确解读这段话的突破口.

On "KU Based on Benefit" in Mencius

Abstract:There are different interpretations on the chapter "Ku Based on Benefit" in Mencius.It also becomes an obstacle in our interpreting on Mencius's theory of good humanity. The difficult in understanding those words lies in that the means of "Ku" and "Li" in these words are not clear. Recently, with the unearthed of underground literature, the disputation around this question becomes hotter. Only can we interpret this chapter by dint of glossology and thoughtway together, and discuss it under the frame of Mencius's theory of good humanity, we can find new clew to solve this question .At that time, the general definition about "Xing" is "life is equal to Xing",which can be a key to settle our question.
