| 摘 要： | 学术自由是现代大学基本的办学理念,是完成大学使命和保持大学活力的必要条件。哈佛大学自十九世纪以来始终坚持学术自由理念,营造了一个良好的学术氛围,这是哈佛大学取得成功的一个重要原因。我国大学要创建世界一流,必须将学术自由作为基本的办学理念。

| Abstract: | Academic freedom is a basic school-running idea of modern university. It is a necessary condition to finish missions of university and to keep the university active. Harvard University has insisted on the idea of academic freedom since nineteenth century, thus has created a suitable atmosphere for prosperity of academy. It is an important reason that Harvard University can succeed. Chinese universities must insist on the idea to become the leading universities in the world. |
