| Abstract: | Exile is one of the principal penal means adopted by the rulers in Chinese feudal society.It is a heavy penalty which is inferior to death penalty.This essay inquires into and analyzes the causes and characteristics of exile in Northern Dynasties proceeding from its sourse and course,then it gives an objective and historical judgement. |
