| 摘 要： | 不同的民族有不同的文化,文化制约着交际规则,而语言是交际最直接最有效的手段.作为文化载体的语言深受文化的制约与影响,要成功地进行跨文化交际,参与者不仅要了解自己的文化,而且要了解对方的文化。本文运用跨文化语用学的理论,探讨我国英语学习者在跨文化交际中出现语用失误的原因,并对一些语用失误现象进行分析和归类。最后,文章指出语言教学/学习和文化教学/学习应相互结合,置于同等重要的地位。

Pragmatic Failures in Cross-cultural Communication and the Countermeasures |

| Abstract: | Different nations have different cultures that condition the communicative rules. Language, as the most direct and effective way of communication, is deeply restricted and influenced by culture. In order to make the communication smooth, it is necessary for communicators to know their own culture as well as the culture of the other part. This paper enumerates some examples of pragmatic failures in cross-cultural communication. By applying the theory of cross-cultural pragmatics, the author analyzes the reasons of these failures and categorizes them into two kinds;pragmalinguistic failure and soclopragmatic failure.In the final, the author comes to the concluion;culture teaching/learning and langusge teaching/learning should be integrated and be put at the same height in foreign language teaching/learing. |
