| Abstract: | Xu Niang is a royal princess in Liang period of the Southern dynasty.The image of Xu Niang has been embodied as cultural elements in the Chinese language,The half-face makeup of marked individuality has become a kind of mystery.The rich historical connotation in her image speaks for the character of the words and actions style of the mature women.Therefore,Xu Niang is used to refer to the middle-age women,whom still retain their graceful bearing. |
