| 摘 要： | 克林顿时期美国对外战略可概括为:以经济安全为核心,军事实力为后盾,全球”民主化”为手段,通过巩固和调整联盟关系和它主导下的大国协调,建立符合美国利益的国际政治经济新秩序,确保冷战后直至21世纪美国世界领导地位。这一对外战略,背离了世界多极化发展的趋势,是对和平与发展时代主题的严峻挑战,而且使美国政府陷入内外交困诸多矛盾中。全球化日益发展,任何一个国家称霸世界越来越不可能。

| Abstract: | The American Foreign Strategy in Clinton's years can be concluded as follows: seeking economic security as its main goal; depending on military supremacy as its backing; using "democratization" in the whole world as its instrumentation; through strengthening and readjusting its relations with its allies, trying to harmonize with other big powers, trying to establish a new international political ant! economical order which accords to its own will, America wants to make sure that a single - polar world led by America will be set up post - Cold War and in the 21st century. The Foreign Strategy doesn't conform to the trend toward multipolar world. It is not only a severe challenge to the main theme of our times: peace and development, but also makes America face complicated situation and contradictions at home and abroad. With globalization developing, no country can dominate the whole world. |
