| Abstract: | The Great Learning(Da Xue)possessed a very distinct position in the history of Chinese philosophy. Confucian scholars not only revised its texts,but also made some supplements.The developmental history of revised edi- tions of The Great Learning embodied ancient Chinese philosophers'special methods for their interpretations of classics, and reflected Chinese philosophy's inherent changes in its basic views and principles. |
