| 摘 要： | 由于受不同文化背景和思维模式的影响，汉英两种语言在语言形式与意义关系的不同特点，反映了汉英两种语言的异质性特征。在语言形式与意义的关系上，汉语较之英语更重其意而轻其形，属所谓的意合性语言，即行文大凡为以神统形。而作为形合性语言的英语，其语言形式则更多地表现为意义取决于形式。主要就汉语的以神统形所反映出的几种形式及其意义关系特点与英语作一些比较分析。
