| 摘 要： | 16—18世纪英国的政治、经济、宗教和文化发生了很大的变化，但中上层阶层的择偶标准并没有发生多大改变，对感情、年龄、地位、财富、宗教信仰和品德等因素都要加以考虑，虽然承认爱和感情是婚姻的前提，但更注重婚姻的物质基础，强调门当户对。

| Abstract: | During this period from 16th to 18th century, deep transformation took place in such fields as its economy, politics, religion, ideology and culture, while the criteria of spouse-choosing of the English upper-and-middle class did not change much. The elements as emotions, age, social rank, possessions, religion belief and virtue were taken in consideration in spouse-choosing. They admitted love was the base of marriage, but took more attention to the material base and match in family background compared with the lower class. |
