| 摘 要： | 选举产生执政党和政府,是加拿大执政党及政府首脑取得合法性地位的唯一依据.在近几届的加拿大联邦选举中,年轻人参选投票率持续走低现象引起普遍关注.他们怀疑选举本身的价值、对国家的政治局面失去信心,以及本身的年龄特点和相关知识准备不足,是他们放弃行使选举权利的主要原因.然而更为重要的是制度本身的积弊、政治结构中的缺失等,导致年轻人与政治的疏离与漠然,若不加以改革和调整,则难以改变年轻人不投票的现象.选举作为现代民主国家几乎普适的制度,虽具体内容不一,但研究年轻人的选举问题,则具有广泛的借鉴意义.
