| Abstract: | The present study makes an analysis of the interactive metadiscourse in Chinese and Western Universities＇ profiles and reaches a conclusion of the differences and similarities in the use of interactive metadiscourse through comparative study.Based on the quantitative analysis,the interpretation is presented from the perspective of linguistics and culture with the hope that the understanding of the characteristics and values of interactive metadiscourse in unverisities＇ profiles will be enhanced. |
