| Abstract: | The aim of this paper is not to expound the content of Indian educational policy, but to analyze the factors that influencing these policies. In author' s view, the change of Indian political situation influenced directly the orientation of educational policies. The multiple ethnics, languages and religions influenced the teaching language and language policies. The Caste system is the most unique factor that influenced Indian primary educational policies. The poverty of countryside influenced the popularization of compulsory education policies. |
