Abstract:In order to strengthen the effect of embedded system design practice teaching and improve students’ ability to solve complex engineering problems, an experimental case of the sensor data acquisition system is designed with a top-down design method. This case adopts the PYNQ-Z2 hardware platform with ZYNQ-7000 series as the core, connects sensors through Arduino interface, and uses Xilinx’s Vivado and SDK for software and hardware design and development. Through the experimental case, students can obtain an in-depth understanding of the principles and methods of the co-design of ZYNQ-7000 software and hardware, as well as the methods of data collection and transmission through the communication interface of Arduino’s analog, digital, I2 C and UART buses, which can stimulate students’ interest in learning microprocessor structure and embedded system design, and improve the effect of practical teaching.
