| Abstract: | Based on the basic theory of educational measurement, the requirements of the syllabus, and a sample mathematics test for university students of science and engineering, this article presents an analysis of the relationship between the level of scientificness in the design of a test and the quality of test questions. It offers some recommendations for the test design in various higher education programs. |
