新闻英语听力:调查分析与教学启示

摘    要:新闻英语听力是高校英语专业四级考试的必考内容之一,但由于其题材广泛,文体特殊,词汇专门化等特点,往往使得学生在理解上出现滞后性,最终导致新闻信息流失,造成信息差。这是学生在英语新闻听力理解过程的最大障碍。基于优化了的错误分析方法,本文对50名学生在三份专四新闻听力中的答题情况进行分析,解释了学生在新闻英语听力过程中答题错误的原因。笔者认为学生辨音能力弱、语篇意识差、逻辑判断能力不足和心理焦虑等方面的问题是导致他们答题错误的原因。在此,笔者揭示了错误类型的本质并提出了相应的纠错策略,希望能帮助学生减少由于信息差而引起的听力理解错误,从而最大程度地提高专四新闻听力理解答题的准确率。

Abstract:In TEM-4,comprehension of English news broadcast is one of the most difficult parts for the students.Because of the wide range of subjects and topics and specialized vocabulary,many students find it hard to follow the news when it broadcast.Based on the method of mistake analysis,this paper analyzes the mistakes occurred in the comprehension of English news broadcast and concludes that students' failure in listening comprehension is mainly due to the lack of knowledge of phonetics and discourse,the deficiency in logical reasoning ability and anxiety in the test.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions in the hope that the students will improve their correct ratio in the examination.
