| 摘 要： | 以澄清“基础教育”、“草根文化”等基本概念为出发点，从维系西南民族地区民族成员的生存、培养其道德习惯与审美情感、促进其民族认同等三个层面，提出西南民族地区各民族“草根文化”所具有的基础教育意蕴。最后对落实“草根文化”的基础教育功能提出了三点建议：确立新的民族基础教育观、整理加工“草根文化”、加强校内外教育的融通。
