| 摘 要： | 《J·阿尔弗瑞德·普鲁弗洛克的情歌》描写了上流社会中一个庸碌的青年在求爱途中的矛盾心理。该诗运用了大量的隐喻，表现了这个男子的意识流动和精神状态。诗人通过他的胆小懦弱，彷徨无助的悲哀心理展现了现代人的挫败感和异化感。诗人运用隐喻体现了该诗的诗歌功能，而读者可以通过隐喻的认知功能更好地解读主题。

| Abstract: | The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock describes a young man＇s controversial psychology in his way of pursuing love. This poem employs lots of metaphor to show a vivid picture of this young man＇s flow of consciousness and his mentality. The poetic functions and cognitive functions of metaphor would be analyzed in order to present the theme -alienation. |
