| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,故语言的使用总是参照特定的文化。由于中西文化的差异,形成了翻译局限性这一问题。本文以大量的例证,从语言空缺、传统习惯、地方民俗以及修辞手面等方面,论述了翻译局限性问题。

| Abstract: | When we use the language, we should refer to the specific culture, since the language is
only the carrier of the culture. There are differences between Chinese and western culture, so there exist
limitations in translation. In this paper, the author, with a lot of examples, expounds that the linguistics
vacancy, traditional customs, local folkways and rhetoric means are the leading factors that cause the
limitations in translation practice. |
