| Abstract: | Based on the fundamental attributes and the main social roles of the public libraries, the article elaborates the functions of the public library services in the development of a harmonious society and the establishment of harmonious culture. And the author also puts forward some suggestions on improving the pubic library services in order to promote the harmonious culture and the harmonious society. |
