牛津大学现代导师制的发展史及启示

摘    要:牛津大学现代导师制是各学院教学的基础,是一种以学院为依托,以本科生教学为主,以导师个别教学为主要特征的教学制度。它也给我国大学的本科生导师制带来了启示:一是要丰富本科生导师制的实践形式;二是要正视本科生导师制有效实施的限制因素,如制度方面、师生比例方面、经济方面、其他制度与导师制的关系等;三是要处理导师制中精英教育与大众教育的矛盾;四是要建立科学的导师教学评价、监督机制;五是要借鉴与创新并进,建设中国特色的本科生导师制。

Abstract:The modem tutorial system is the teaching basis in the University of Oxford, which relies on the colleges, mainly as undergraduate teaching, and taking individual teaching as the main feature. It also gives our universities' undergraduate tutorial system some revelations: Firstly, we must enrich the practice form of undergraduate tutorial system. Secondly, we must face up to the constraints of implementing undergraduate tutorial system effectively, such as the system factors, teacher-student ratio, economic factors, the relationship between other systems and the tutorial system, etc. Thirdly, we need deal with the conflicts between the elite education and mass education. Fourthly, we need to establish a scientific teaching evaluation and supervision mechanisms. Fifthly, we must keep learning and innovation so as to construct undergraduate tutorial system with Chinese characteristics.
