| 摘 要： | 华裔女作家谭恩美在《喜福会》中描写了若干个懦弱、自私及令人生厌的男性形象,这和中国传统文化中的正义、英勇及高大男性形象大相径庭。本文主要从美国主流文化对华裔作家影响的角度来分析在《喜福会》中华裔男性被丑化的原因。

| Abstract: | In her best-seller the Joy Luck Club,Amy Tan,an outstanding Chinese-American female writer,describes a number of timid,selfish and disgusting Chinese male figures,which is totally different from brave,just and courageous men in the traditional Chinese culture.This paper will analyze the reasons for uglifying Chinese men from the angle of the influences of American mainstream culture. |
