| Abstract: | Under the impact of the silver policy of America, a silver crisis broke out in China in 1935. In the course of this crisis, the circles of banks and private banks in Shanghai were seriously affected, and many of them went bankrupt. In order to pull through this crisis, banks and private banks in Shanghai had to turn to the National Government for help, and they were gradually controlled by it. |
