| 摘 要： | 本文在解析《老人与海》关于自然的主题时,着意阐明海明威笔下人类与自然的互动关系,即人与自然之间既非征服亦非简单的顺应或崇敬,而是一个相生相息的关系。在形象塑造上,本文不宥于单从老人的角度分析人物的精神实质,而以老人为出发点,阐释整个文本对宏观人类精神的塑造和表现。

| Abstract: | The article gives a clear explanation about the theme of the nature of "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway, with emphasis on the interdynamic relationship between man and nature. This relationship is noted as being depending on each other for existence instead of conquest, or obedience, worship. The article clarifies overarching societal template in existence while showing the importance of human spirit through the device of the Old Man. |
