摘    要:清末至1937年的约半个世纪,中国人对日语教材的编写经历了发轫与奠基、过渡与停滞、渐进与高潮的过程。这一过程与中日关系及中国社会的发展密切相关。日语教材的大量编写显示着国人直接、深入认识研究日本的需要,也在很大程度上折射出这一时期中国对日研究的整体状况。

Abstract:From the late Qing Dynasty to 1937, Chinese had gone through a searching period on the compilation of Japanese textbooks, which includes the stages of emerging and foundation, transition and stagnation,progress and climax. The change of stages has a close relationship with the societal development in China and the changes in the Sino-Japanese relations. The large number of Japanese textbooks compiled shows the needs of Chinese to know Japan and also reflects the status of China's research on Japan.
