| 摘 要： | 随着中国改革开放逐步深入以及国际交往的日益频繁,英文缩略词以其便利高效的语用功能优势在汉语交际中的使用频率越来越高,并成为汉语语言的重要组成部分。然而,英文缩略词的语用功能优势却在近期因央视频道对其说＂不＂而遭到汉语纯洁性挑战,并在学界引发广泛争议。文章就英文缩略词的语用功能和汉语译词的使用优势,对英文缩略词在汉语交际中的作用做了个人裁判。

| Abstract: | With the further reform and opening-up in China,English initialisms,accepted as an important part of Chinese language and due to their convenient and good pragmatic functions,are more frequently used than ever before.However,the recent declaration of removing English initialisms from CCTV has brought about extensive controversies and especially about the purity of the Chinese language.The paper discusses the pragmatic functions of English initialisms and the advantages of their translations and their possible future. |
