浅论英语阅读教学的文化导入

摘    要:英语教学的终极目标之一是培养学生用语言进行跨文化交际的能力。英语阅读教材蕴涵着丰富的社会文化内容,学生有必要认知。教学中的文化导入是学生走进它、认知它的重要方式。这些文化知识的获取对培养学生跨文化交际能力确有指导意义。文章对英语阅读教学中文化导入的意义、内容、原则、方法等进行初步论述,为英语学习者抛砖引玉。

Abstract:One of the main aims of foreign language teaching is to develop the students' ability of intercultural communication. The topics and the types of English extensive reading texts are varied. So culture teaching should be introduced during the language teaching, which is very important for our students. This paper discusses the significance, content,principle and method of culture input in the teaching of English extensive reading. It can be a great help to the English learners.
