| 摘 要： | 美国名教育家孟禄1921年的来华调查与讲学，是20世纪20年代中美教育交流史上的一件盛事。通过整理有关献资料分析孟禄对近现代中国教育理论、制度与实践的贡献，探讨他对20世纪20年代中国教育的影响，具有一定的历史意义与现实价值。

| Abstract: | In 1921, Paul Monroe, the well-known American educationalist came to China for educational observations and lectures. This has been regarded as a historical event in Sino-American history of educational exchanges. Consequ ently, it is of great significance and realistic value to restudy Monroe's theor etical and pragmatic propositions as contributions to Chinese education, and to further understand his influence on Chinese education in the 1920s. |
