| 摘 要： | 我国高等教育不断发展取得了举世瞩目的成就,但由于我国高等教育“后发外生”的基本特征,决定了长期以来我国高等教育国际化水平较低的现状。因此我国高校外事工作必须在国际化的视野下追求创新与超越,不断学习借鉴国外高校外事工作的经验,思考高校外事工作方式的改进与提高。本文从国际学生交流项目管理、高校外事工作者素质的培养和提高、推动高校教师外事活动参与度、高校国际知名度提升及合作伙伴的选择和沟通等五个方面阐述对美国印第安纳大学外事工作开展情况的调研内容,希望对我国高校外事工作的开展有所启发。

| Abstract: | The development of China＇s higher education gained the success and attracted worldwide attention, but the characteristic of China＇s higher education,namely, ＂latecomer＂,determines the status that for a long time the level of internationalization of higher education in China is relatively low.Therefore, foreign affairs in university must be in international perspective to pursue innovation and transcendence, learning from the foreign experi- ence in foreign affairs,and to improve the thinking way of foreign affairs in university.The paper introduces the investigation on the development foreign affairs in Indiana University from five aspects, including the management of international student exchange projects, the cultivation and improvement of university foreign affairs workers, the promotion of university teachers＇ participation in foreign affairs, the improvement of international popularity of the university, the selection of partners and communication with them. |
