| 摘 要： | 高职教育与普通高等教育的不同之处在于,对人才的教育培养更注重社会性和职业性。中国经济的崛起推进传统文化与世界各国文化的融合,促使高职英语教育已经由工具性语言教育向英美文化转向。此时,高职英语教育仅仅依赖于培养学生的英语语言表达能力是远远不够的,还需要将本土文化融入其中,促进本土文化与英美文化的有效融合。但是从目前高职英语教育情况来看,由于过于重视本土文化而导致英美文化严重缺失,本论文着重探讨高职英语教育中英美文化的缺失。

| Abstract: | Compared with general higher education, higher vocational education emphasizes more on sociality and professionalism in talent education and training. The rise of Chinese economy has impelled the integration of traditional culture with cultures of other countries, and transformed the orientation of higher vocational English education from a language as a tool to British and American culture. Therefore, merely cultivating students＇ ability of English language expression is far from enough, and local cul- ture should be infiltrated into the education in order to promote the effective integration of local culture and British and American culture. But viewing from the current situation of higher voca- tional English education, the deficiency of British and American culture is severe due to excessive emphasis on local culture. This paper focused on the deficiency of British and American culture in higher vocational English education. |
