Abstract:The implementation of the new curriculum reform makes English teaching in the classroom meaningful and vivid,but there are still some problems for reflection.In the junior section of English teaching,as beginners of English learning,the students are of general problems in recognizing and reading.If teaching methods are not interesting,the students will be so passive in learning that they will be poorer at recognizing and reading English.This paper presents the practical teaching by using stories and reflections about the problems in order to stimulate students' enthusiasm and improve students' capacity in recognizing and reading English through edutainment.
