摘    要:倪吾诚是一个“多余人”的典型形象。中西化的撞击冲突是使其成为“多余人”的历史原因,倪吾诚在现实生活中的迷惘,挣扎,无力,失败,符合典型的“多余人”特征,倪吾诚与其他“多余人”比较,同中有异,个性鲜明。倪吾诚的是性格的悲剧,是化的悲剧。

Abstract:This essay puts forward a new conception that NI Wu-cheng is a typical image of "superfluous man". The conflict between Chinese and western culture is the historical cause of his becoming an unwanted person. He falls into the group of "superfluous man" because of his confusion, struggle, weakness, and failure in real life. His tragedy is the tragedy of character and culture.
