| 摘 要： | 模糊限制语具有丰富的语义特征,不仅活跃于日常交际生活中,而且在多种篇章和文体中处处可见。通过分析模糊限制语的概念及分类,结合新闻英语的实例,试着探讨英语新闻报道使用模糊限制语的必要性以及其语用功能。

| Abstract: | With various semantic properties,hedges are constantly employed in daily communication and often found in passages and styles of different kinds.Based on the analysis of what hedges are in semantical and pragmatical ways,the paper intends to discuss necessity of hedges in news English and its special pragmatic functions by studying examples from English news. |
