| Abstract: | After World War Two, influenced by linguistic turn in philosophy and the rising postmodemism, people come to know that fussy language is a linguistic phenomenon widely existing in human legal field. This paper examines the basic pragmatic functions of fussy legal language from the point of view of cognitive linguistics, rhetoric and pragmatics. |
