| Abstract: | On-line retrieval teaching is a weak link in the information retrieval course in universities and colleges. By ana- lyzing predicaments of on-line retrieval teaching, such as feeble and out- of- date learning materials, limited teaching fa- cilities, obsolate teaching patterns, shortage of teachers and so on, countermeasures to be adopted was posed: formulating new outlines of on - line retrval teaching, re - organizing teaching materials, employing leval - division teaching methods, re- new teaching facilities, transforming teaching patterns enhancing practical link, devoting much attention to training of teach- ers. |
