| 摘 要： | 社会形态或历史分期研究曾经是20世纪绝大部分时间中国理论历史学的主要论题,事实一再证明这是一个在理论上破绽百出而在实践上益少害多的研究方法.但是在长久形成的思想意识推动下,还有不少史学工作者试图通过修补使这个方略重新获得解释力.历史分期是19世纪西方进化论人类学影响中国史学的直接后果,以摩尔根为代表的进化论人类学早在20世纪20年代已遭到全面的批判被相率放弃,他的做法却在中国史学上延续至今,在某种意义上说我们今天仍旧在重蹈摩尔根的覆辙.21世纪的史学工作者应该战胜自己头脑中的固执和偏见,积极探索新的道路,中国史学才能焕发自己的活力.

| Abstract: | The study of social formation or historical division, which used to be the major theses of Chinese science of theoretical history, has repeatedly been proved to be a shaky approach, more harmful than useful in practice. However, driven by the long_established ideological consciousness, many a historian is still attempting to compensate such a methodology so that it may regain its power of interpretation. As a direct effect of the 19_century Western evolutionist anthropology on Chinese science of history, Morgan's evolutionist anthropology was extensively criticized and finally abandoned, but his methodology has continued to be used in China even today. In a sense, we are still following the track of Morgan's overturned cart. Chinese science of history will not promise a bright prospect unless the 21_century historical workers make an active effort to tap a new path by overcoming the stubbornness and biases in the depths of their minds. |
