| 摘 要： | 编、编辑、编撰、编纂是编辑学的基本概念。从产生的渊源及演变过程考证，“编”字起源于殷商时代，“编辑”一词产生于隋唐时期；“编辑”与“编纂”虽可互训，但“编纂”的含义更具体。“编辑”一词在古代和现代意义上虽一脉相承，但仍有微妙变化。

| Abstract: | The compiling, editing, composing and writting are the basic concepts of editting field. To research textually from their origin and evolution, the character `bian' was originated from Yinshang Dynasty, but `Bianji'came from period of Sui and Tang Dynasties. `Bianji'and `Bianchuan' could be explained with correspendent meaning, but`bianchuan' has more specific meaning. Although the word `bianji'has identical meaning from ancient to modern times, it still changes slightly in meaning. |
