| 摘 要： | 竞技体育和群众体育是我国体育事业的两个重要组成部分，目前二者发展极不平衡，群众体育极大滞后。2008年北京奥运会获得了巨大成功，奥运会后我国体育事业必将迎来一个新的发展时期，而体育工作的重心也必将发生转移。通过借鉴以往奥运会举办国的经验教训，分析了奥运会后我国体育事业的发展趋势，阐述了大力发展群众体育的必然性和重要意义，同时对如何处理好竞技体育与群众体育的关系提出了建议。
