| 摘 要： | 长久以来,我国大学英语教学过于注重对语言形式(语音、语法、词汇)的讲解传授,而较少结合英美国家的社会、文化特征进行语言教学。这样,就导致了很多学生在没有任何语法和词汇障碍的交际中无法正确表达自己的意思或者理解母语者的意思,更有甚者形成文化冲突。基于此就要求大学英语教师应该在传授语言知识的同时,重视对学生文化背景知识的培养,有效地提高学生跨文化交际的能力。
