论以跨文化交际为导向的英语教学

摘    要:20世纪80年代以来,人们越来越认识到化导入对语言教学的重要性,并且认为语言教学在本质上是化教学。尤其是我国加入WTO后,跨化交际活动变得日益频繁和重要,因此英语教学应坚持以跨化交际为导向,以培养学生的跨化交际能力为最终目标,将语言教学与化导入结合起来。本将先从化错误谈起,旨在揭示以跨化交际为导向的英语教学的重要性,进而探讨贯彻于课堂教学的具体运用。

Abstract:Nowadays discussions about culture have become increasingly popular in English language teaching (ELT), which leads to most ELT teachers' agreement that language teaching is essentially culture teaching. In view of the increasing importance and frequency of intercultural communicative (ICC) activities in English for the Chinese especially after China's entry into WTO, we English teachers should incorporate English culture into ELT in China, oriented by the needs of ICC, with aim to improve students' ICC abilities. This article will elaborate this, beginning with the analysis of cultural mistakes.
