| Abstract: | During the period when the Olympic movement was first introduced to China,it had encountered exclusion and resistence due to its serious clashment with the traditional Chinese culture. However,accompanying by the grat progress of society and culture,with the development of the Olympic movement,and promoted by China's return to the Olympic family and China's policy of reform and openning up,an all-round integration of the Olympic Movement with China's sports and her social-cultural background was formed.This change was extremely important for the development of both China herself and the Olympic movement. |
