| Abstract: | This paper aims to present the development of women's sport in Greece and to demonstrate the development in professional sport.Further,it will also present the participation of non-competitive sport activities and the newly increased interest of the women to attend competitions as spectators,fans or volunteers.The Olympic Games in 2004 had a clear positive impact on these developments. |
