| 摘 要： | 通过回溯北京大学与清华大学早期的体育史,分别对蔡元培和周诒春、蒋梦麟和梅贻琦这两个时期的北大、清华体育发展状况进行对比。指出北京大学在早期的体育教育发展过程中没有形成一以贯之的体育传统,而清华大学从一开始就注重体育氛围的培育,形成了较为连续的体育传统。两所学校各自体育文化的形成受到相应的文化背景、教育思想、校园环境、经费支持等因素的影响。

| Abstract: | Through comparing the PE history between Peking University and Tsinghua University,this paper reviews the early development of PE of the two universities,and shows that Peking University didn’t have a consistent PE tradition,in contrast Tsinghua University put more emphasis on it.The differences resulted from different cultural background,educational philosophy,campus environment,financial support,and so on. |
