| 摘 要： | 新农村建设离不开“新农村体育”，“新农村体育”离不开太极拳。太极拳固有的健身养生功能相对于目前广大农民来说如“雪中送炭”.研究指，出，太极拳运动可以通过多种方式进驻农村，为促进新农村体育建设发挥重要的作用。加大宣传力度、发挥学校体育功能、建立老年人太极拳活动中心、举办小型比赛和吸引社会资金等措施来发展农村太极拳运动是新农村体育建设的主要途径。
