| 摘 要： | 运用文献资料法、专家访谈法、对比分析法、调查法等研究方法，分析了以往举办过的一些国际体育大赛及将在北京举行的2008年奥运会对举办城市产生的影响。发现：国际体育大赛的成功举办会对举办城市产生诸多积极的经济、文化综合效应，如完善城市基础设施建设，拉动经济高速增长，增强城市文化对地区和国际文化的影响力等方面。同时指出，有条件的大城市应积极申办国际体育大赛，借助赛事的积极影响加快自身的建设和发展。 |

| Abstract: | By means of the research methods of literature, interviews to experts, comparative analysis, investigations and so on, the present paper has analyzed the effect of the international major sports competitions held in the past and Beijing Olympic Games that will be held in 2008 on the host city. It has found that the success in holding the international major sports competitions will have many positive synthetic effects on the economy and culture of the host city. For Example, it can perfect the construction of the urban basic facilities, promote the rapid increase in economy, enlarge the effect of the urban culture on the regional and international culture and so forth, and at the same time, it has pointed out that the qualified metropolises should zealously bid for holding the international major sports competitions, speed up their construction and development with the aid of the positive effect of the competitions, so as to strive for turning themselves into the modernized international metropolises as soon as possible. |
