基于绿色存储的数据资源中心建设

摘    要:随着全球信息化和数字图书馆建设进程的加快,数据资源的爆炸性增长导致存储容量的大幅度增加,许多大容量、大功率的传统存储设备得到广泛应用,导致数据资源中心的高成本、高能耗,对环境保护带来新的问题和挑战。针对这一问题,提出引入绿色存储存储理念、实施绿色存储战略,是实现节能降耗、降低系统总体拥有成本的关键;通过目前常用绿色存储技术的详细分析和介绍,对我们在实际工作中如何选用符合相关法规与标准的存储设备,建设高能效数据资源中心具有较强的指导意义。

Constructing Digital Resource Center Based on the Green Storage

Abstract:With the development of the global informationization and the construction of digital libraries, the explosive increasing of the data resource has resulted in the surprisingly- high amount of the storage capacity, and the high- consumption of the traditional storage devices has caused the high- cost of data resouzce center, which, in turn, would challenge the environ- mental protclion. To solve the problem, the idea and the strategy of green storage has been introduced to realize the energy saving and consumption reduction, and to the purpose of the reduction of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of the system. The further introduction and analysis of the green storage technique are instructive both to the application of storage devices up to laws and norms, and to the construction of energy- efficient data resource center.
