| 摘 要： | 本文以Internet网上出版的国际英文学术期刊为考察对象，专题论述网上学术期刊的类型、文件格式和出版方式、印刷期刊不具备的全新特性。按照期刊的渊源，网上学术期刊可分为纯网上学术期刊、印刷学术期刊的完整电子版、转移到网上出版的印刷学术期刊和印刷学术期刊的网上目录和文摘。网上学术期刊的文件格式主要有纯文本格式、HTML格式、PDF格式和RealPage格式。网上学术期刊的发布方式以WWW网为主，以远程文件传递和邮寄表为辅。与印刷期刊相比，网上电子学术期刊有如下特征实时网上浏览；免费提供学术期刊目录和论文著录项；现期内容通报服务；论文全文检索；含有超级链路的参考文献；网上论文读者论坛；精确的读者统计。

| Abstract: | Based on the study of international academic journals in English published on the Internet,this article examines the origins,file formats,publication media and particular characteristics of Internet-based academic journals,which can be classified into four categories:journals published only on the Internet,electronic editions of print journals,print journals moved to the Internet,print journals with their tables of content and abstracts online.Electronic academic journals in ASCII code,HTML,PDF or RealPage format are published on the World Wide Web sites,FTP sites or mailing lists.Compared with print journals,academic journals on the Internet have the following characteristics:timely online browsing,free tables of contents and citations,current awareness service,full-text search on published articles,references with hyperlinks pointing to the cited works,discussion groups for each article published,precise statistics of article reading. |
