| 摘 要： | 典故是语言的精华,文章常常因为典故的恰当使用而增色。英汉两种语言中存在着大量的典故,这些典故都有丰富的文化内涵。根植于特有文化的典故在跨文化翻译中存在一些难以跨越的障碍。这是因为典故的内涵并非显而易见,只有处于同一文化中的读者才能顺利地理解典故的隐含意义。典故的隐含意义,即典故的语用隐含,是指典故在具体的文本使用中所产生的比喻义﹑外延义及它本身具有的文化含义。因此向目的语读者传达文本中典故的语用隐含意义就成为典故翻译的核心问题。本文将从语用隐含的角度和文化传真的原则对英汉典故词语互译的各种可行性策略进行研究。
