| 摘 要： | 夏志清的中国古典小说研究多从道德角度切入,诸如对《金瓶梅》性道德的批判,对《水浒》＂行帮道德＂的反思,对《红楼梦》爱情道德的解析,对《西游记》道德正当性的论述。从中外文学史及批评史来看,道德批评有其合理性,文学批评应当具有道德承载。夏志清对中国古典小说的道德批评是从西方人文主义道德出发的审美化批评,充满人道主义温情,其独特的理论来源和批评实践,丰富了中国古典小说的批评理论。

| Abstract: | Xia Zhiqing＇s research on Chinese classical novels usually takes the approach of moral criticism,for instance,the sex moral criticism on Plum in the Golden Vase,the reflection of ＂Gang morality＂ in Water Margins,the analysis on the love morality in A Dream of Red Mansions,and the comments on the moral justice in A Journey to the West.Moral criticism is legitimate according the history of literature criticism both in China and abroad,and literature criticism should take some moral responsibility.Xia Zhiqing＇s moral criticism on Chinese classical novels is an aesthetic criticism based on the Western humanistic morality and is full of humanistic tender feelings.Its special theoretic resource and practice of criticism has enriched the theory of Chinese classical novel criticism. |
