| 摘 要： | 该文借用Hyland关于"模糊语"这一概念的定义,首先回顾了国外近年来对学术语篇中的模糊语相关研究。接着从元话语理论、评价理论和语境理论等不同视角对学术语篇中的模糊语使用目的进行了阐述,并分析了学术语篇的语境特征,最后提出了相关研究对英语写作教学的建议。

| Abstract: | Based on Hyland’s definition on hedges,the present paper reviews the related researches abroad on hedges in academic discourse in recent years.Then it moves on elaborating on the motivation for hedging in academic discourse from different theoretical perspectives.Finally,it discusses the contextual features of academic discourse and put forward the pedagogical implications for EAP writing. |
