Abstract:As workers of compulsory education,rural primary and secondary school teachers' beliefs influence not only their own all-round development and growth,but also the current rural education development.The investigation on teachers' educational beliefs of six rural primary and secondary schools in Hunan province shows that situation of rural teachers' educational beliefs is worrying.Therefore,it is important to establish an ideal educational impelling mechanism,strengthen rural educational belief set and stimulate teachers' respect and admiration for education.
